In this Facility are located the Zapopan AFB and the College of the Air.In the "Escuela Militar de Aviación" are formed the Mexican Air Force Pilots and some pilots of other government agencies like the PGR (Procuraduría General de la Republica) and some pilots of the PFP (Policia Federal Preventiva), Mexican Navy and Pilots of other countries. The cadets of the College of the Air train in the Aermacchi SF-260, Cessna 182, Pilatus PC-7 and the Stearman PT-17 and the Beech F-33C.

En estas instalaciones se encuentran localizadas la base de la Fuerza Aérea en Zapopan, el Colegio del Aire “Escuela Militar de Aviación” donde se forman los pilotos de la Fuerza Aérea Mexicana y otros pilotos de otras agencias gubernamentales como la Procuraduría General de la Republica, Armada de México, pilotos de la Policía Federal y pilotos de otros países. Los cadetes del colegio del aire entrenan en Aermacchi SF-260, Cessna 182, Pilatus PC-7 y los Stearman PT-17 y el Beechcraft F-33C.
